Controlled aeration in a process of bio-stabilization, composting or bio-drying of waste has many advantages. First, it makes possible to keep optimal conditions for the development of micro-organisms responsible for the biological transformation of waste. By controlling airflow, we can regulate temperature, humidity, and oxygen concentration, thereby promoting effective biological activity.
Then, controlled ventilation reduces odour emissions. By supplying oxygen with fresh air intake into the system, it promotes the elimination of smelly volatile compounds, thus helping to improve the working environment and limit odour nuisance for residents.
Thanks to automated control systems, based on combined oxygen and temperature measurements, a fine tuning of the operating parameters ensures optimal waste treatment efficiency. The embedded air distribution network is designed such as the oxygen is provided equally in the whole betch of waste.
In addition our unique Biodôme technology allows recovery of heat produced by the composting process.
