- 7,000 t/year bio-waste structured by green waste scalable to 10,000 t/year
- 5000 t/year of OMR for biostabilization with burying
- 2000 t/year of CSR fraction production from OMR or bio-waste packaging
4 semi-closed biodomes with double skin for heat recovery
Air supply and Oxygen regulation
For the tomorrow
Problem encountered at the base:
Heavy rainfall requires working under roofs. Manual opening of bio-waste bags caused poor sanitary conditions for operators and a high level of organic matter remained in the packaging (to be stabilized).
The OMRs contained little recoverable fraction for material recovery, requiring the development of the CSR sector.
Suggested solutions :
Air insufflation and oxygen regulation guarantee the maintenance of aerobic conditions and hygienic conditions with temperatures above 70°C at all points of the windrow.
It is a versatile solution allowing the production of approved compost, the biostabilization before burial of OMR as well as the biodrying of the fraction recoverable in CSR.
This installation could be sustainable regardless of the evolution of public policies in terms of waste management and recovery in Colombia.
Franco-Colombian project
The project was awarded a FASEP for the innovation it offers, both technical (unconfined double skin Biodôme tunnels) and the know-how that we offer to Colombia (multipurpose composting technology, biostabilization of OMR before burial and biodrying of the CSR fraction). A first success with our local partner Kontrolgrün for a first international collaboration outside Europe.
FASEP financing “Innovative solutions for the reduction and recovery of waste” up to 30% of the project
